My faith in God sustains and nurtures me.
I may not always understand the reasons that my life is unfolding as it is. I have faith, however, that events and circumstances come about for my highest good.
Taking a moment to be still, I listen. Placing my complete trust in God, I wait in the silence. Inviting God?s spirit within me to act through me, I follow as God leads me. The outcome may not appear in the way I had expected, but it will be the right one for me and for those I hold in prayer.
My faith can never be too small. It is an absolute connection to God and my ultimate promise of well-being. Whether I am holding onto a tiny grain of faith or I see my faith as a mountain of possibilities, it sustains and nurtures me.
If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, Be uprooted and planted in the sea, and it would obey you. Luke 17:6

What Is Your Real Answer, The One Inside, To The Question How Are You Doing?
Author: God (7:54 pm)
Part of my work as a business consultant often includes working with companies on their mission statement. How about this one:
“Our Mission Is To Encourage Awareness of Spirit Within and Inspire A Way of Life That Brings Love, Freedom, Peace and Joy”
Isn’t that awesome? That is the mission statement of the Unity
Can you imagine everyday of your life with the love, freedom, peace and joy that you want? I can and I am working on myself to achieve that state - all the time. Rev T. talks about life being a state of change. Inner changes are structural changes otherwise what you change is replaced by like kind. Did you know that 70% of the third time marriages end in divorce? Is it possible those people are replacing failed relationships with a like kind relationship? I have had my share of failed relationships. Each time I had my list of what was wrong with the other person. Now I am looking very carefully at myself. In 1994 I began reinventing myself. That was the year I moved from being an employee to a business owner. Late the following year, I began reinventing myself again when I started a business. Both initiatives were really foundation steps to becoming a completely different person. There were successes. But the real growth came from the huge difficulties including relationship difficulties that seemed to roll in just when I thought things were really fine.
I eventually woke up to the fact that I was the one person always at the scene of the crime. I had to begin to look deep inside to discover what it was about me that was manifesting the difficulties. Does this mean I went on a spiritual journey to discover what was wrong? I didn’t set out to become a spiritual being. However, along the way I discovered clarification. I have always been a spiritual being. I just didn’t acknowledge some of the principles. I didn’t understand the spiritual laws of success. I didn’t recognize that by paying attention to the attributes of my spiritual self, I could actually become a more peaceful, content and happy person even while I continued my quest with renewed gusto for the wealth that is my birthright.
By the way, the wealth of wellness, happiness, and prosperity is everyone’s birthright. We are entitled to it. God wants us to have it. Rev. T, who is the Reverend Temple Hayes of the First Unity Church of St. Petersburg, Florida, talked today about relearning in connection with her back to school message. This message was meant for everyone not just the students returning to the classroom. I’ve never paid that close attention to the spiritual lessons delivered from the pulpit when I was going to church growing up. But now, I look forward to being in church with like minded people and even take a notebook to record the most important points made by Rev. T. I can’t write fast enough and so now I buy a CD every week of the service.
I never in my life imagined buying a CD of a church service with a recording of what I had just heard. Generally I was one of those people clamoring to get out of church and on to other things I would rather be doing. I thought it was just Rev. T. Maybe she is especially blessed with being able to deliver these messages. Well then she shows up missing some Sundays. The first couple times that happened I figured service would not be that good that day. Then the guest ministers and speakers get started and wow, they are all wonderful. So I now I just get every CD from every service.
You will find a selection soon of some of the messages from Rev. T and others soon at I Stand For God, and then you can see what I mean. I am continually working on growing new roots and dispensing of ideas that no longer work. I am working hard at this because I don’t find it always natural to answer in the positive when someone asks how I am doing. I think that has been the case a lot in my life. Now I am tired of kidding when someone says “hey Steve how are you doing?” When I answer I am doing very well I want to be able to mean it all the time. I think that is what this is all about. Because when I am able to say I am doing very well that means I have love, freedom, peace and joy - ending with the Unity mission statement just like we started. Namaste(The God in me greets and honors the God in you.)

Let Go, Let God
Author: God (6:11 am)
I live life fully in my sacred partnership with God.
Thank You, God, for You are my constant source of peace. Secure in Your love, I release any tendency to worry or to hold on to concerns of any kind.
As I do, greater understanding rises to the surface of my awareness. I feel the assurance that abundance, wholeness, wisdom, and divine order are my reality.
Experiencing my unity with You, I let go of any need to see outer circumstances turn out my way or any particular way. There is no condition or situation that can negate the powerful activity of Your transforming, healing power.
Relaxed and secure in my sacred partnership with You, I live life fully.
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Matthew 6:25

Divine Nature
Author: God (7:57 am)
Wholeness, abundance, and serenity are being expressed throughout all creation.
Jesus attracted large numbers of people who wanted to be healed and prospered. Our Way Shower not only knew the truth of His divinity, He also demonstrated it through daily living. He knew and taught the truth of the divinity of all humanity.
Awakened to my own divine nature, I naturally demonstrate love, forgiveness, and compassion. I perceive the power of God active within all creation, and I acknowledge the divine creative spark within everyone.
Aware of a need for healing, prosperity, or peace, I know the truth for myself and others. In thought and word, I affirm the underlying power of wholeness, abundance, and serenity within, that is waiting to be expressed.
My speech and my proclamation were not with plausible words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

Healing
Author: God (8:16 am)
I am energized by the life force of God, expressing in me now. Whether I myself or another is experiencing a physical or emotional challenge, I affirm wholeness and hold thoughts of healing in mind. I continue to generate thoughts of health throughout the day, affirming that the life force of God is strengthening every organ and tissue of our bodies. There is an ongoing vitality that is renewing our bodies and refreshing our souls. Divine energy is constantly flowing through us, healing and renewing the very fabric of our beings.
I visualize the wholeness that has already come into expression and the greater well-being that is yet to come into full expression. I give thanks for the energizing, revitalizing power of spirit, mind, and body that is blessing each one of us with life and renewal.
He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3
